Краткое описание

Монография посвящена роли ключевых клеточных органелл — митохондрий в развитии фетальной и перинатальной патологии. Проанализирована роль митохондрий в поддержании нормальной функции плаценты во время беременности.

Подробно описаны изменения структурно-функциональной деятельности митохондрий при различных заболеваниях, возникающих в фетальном и перинатальном периодах — важных стадиях онтогенеза человека. Приведены конкретные примеры связи накопления поврежденных митохондрий с широким спектром патологии — от неврологических нарушений до заболеваний опорно-двигательного аппарата, развивающихся в перинатальном периоде и манифестирующих в более зрелом возрасте. На основании многочисленных данных литературы и собственных исследований убедительно показано, что верификация митохондрий в качестве морфофункционального «субстрата» фетальной и перинатальной патологии открывает широкие перспективы для разработки персонифицированных таргетных подходов к профилактике и лечению заболеваний.
